ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
Experiences That Complement Your Child’s Development
Our enrichment programs are integrated into the learning environment to support every aspect of a child’s growth, incorporating art, movement, and nature into their daily experience.
🎨
Comprehensive Arts Education & Art Atelier
Children participate in a weekly Atelier, a prepared environment where they explore painting, textures, construction, light, and a variety of materials, fostering creativity and sensory exploration.
Our music program supports language development, auditory memory, rhythm, and coordination through intentional musical experiences.
Through theater and creative expression, children develop verbal and nonverbal communication skills while strengthening empathy, confidence, and meaningful connections with others.
These experiences enrich child development by promoting creativity, flexible thinking, and the ability to express and shape their own ideas.
🤸
Physical Education & Gross Motor Development
Children participate in structured movement sessions designed to strengthen balance, coordination, strength, and body control.
Through progressively challenging movement circuits and activities, we support the development of the vestibular and proprioceptive systems—essential foundations for attention, self-regulation, and future academic learning.
Movement is intentional, guided, and aligned with each child’s stage of development.
🌿
Outdoor Time & Nature-Based Learning
Outdoor time is an essential part of our daily routine. Research in neuroscience shows that movement and connection with nature support brain development, emotional regulation, and concentration during the early years.
Although we are located in an urban environment, we offer thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces, including a small garden where children can observe, care for, and connect with real-life natural processes.
These experiences strengthen independence, curiosity, and a meaningful connection with the world around them.
PART OF OUR CURRICULUM
Music Together® In-School
At Mundo Montessori, we deeply believe that children learn best when they can explore, move, observe, repeat, and actively participate within a joyful and connected community. That is why we are excited to integrate Music Together® In-School into our educational experience.
As we learned more about Music Together®, we discovered a philosophy that closely aligns with the Montessori approach to childhood and learning. Both recognize children as naturally capable, curious individuals who learn through exploration, repetition, movement, observation, and meaningful connection with others.
Music Together® In-School brings high-quality music experiences directly into the classroom through songs, movement, rhythmic play, and developmentally appropriate participation. Classes invite children to sing, listen, improvise, participate at their own pace, and build confidence within a safe and joyful environment.
Beyond musical development, these experiences strengthen key areas of early childhood development, including language, motor coordination, concentration, emotional self-regulation, socialization, and a sense of belonging within the community.
Like Montessori, Music Together® values mixed-age learning, the adult’s role as a guide, and the importance of creating authentic experiences where children learn through exploration and active participation without pressure and with respect for their individual pace.
Through Music Together® In-School, we continue cultivating an environment where children can grow, express themselves, and develop a positive and natural relationship with music from their earliest years.
